Parsley Templating

Parsley is the contextual templating language of Zesty. By having a templating language in the context of your content schema you are able to code directly against your site content. This allows developers and content editors to work in tandem.

Similar to other templating languages, Parsley uses double brackets, {{ }}, to open and close template expressions. Inside these brackets a developer can use Parsley functions, reference content schema properties, and write JavaScript statements. These templating expressions are written alongside standard HTML.

If you're brand-new to Parsley, a great place to start is the language REPL found here.

The rest of this section will serve to document common use cases of Parsley and contains a full index of all current, new and deprecated Parsley statements and functions.
